Why does my
daughter have to wear a leotard?
For
the safety of our coaches and your children, leotards are mandatory. The
coaching staff is trained to spot children wearing leotards. When a child
wears a t-shirt, it makes spotting much more difficult. Please do not
send children in bathing suits, the material does not stretch like a
leotard and can rip or tear easily. Leotards must not have any lacing,
skirting, or beading of any kind as it can scratch a coach or the
equipment.
How will I
know if my child is ready to move to a different class?
Your child’s progress is continually tracked by their coaches and
your child’s coach will communicate with you when they have accomplished
the skills necessary to be promoted to the next class level. Anytime after
that contact the Mills Gymnastics USA Business Office to make your
child’s new class selection.
