"Home of Happy
Confident Kids" Mills Gymnastics USA
|
Testimonials
I have coached competitive soccer at all levels,
including Michigan High School State Championship Teams, Premier 1st Division
and Elite Division Teams and even collegiate teams for over 25 years. I often
notice that there are some girls and boys that just perform head and shoulders
above the rest. Nearly always those girls and guys tell me that they have
trained in gymnastics. My own daughters and sons have trained at Mills
Gymnastics USA and I can not say enough good things about what that has done for
their physical development, self-discipline, self-confidence and their ability
to avoid season and career ending injuries. All four of my children have gone on
to compete in collegiate sports. The development of core training, balance and
agility that is mandatory for all competitive athletes is truly an element that
is emphasized and developed at Mills Gymnastics USA. I strongly recommend that
coaches of ALL other sports encourage their athletes to take gymnastics classes
to improve, enhance and maximize their performance.
Gymnastics core training by MILLS USA has increased
my players upper, mid and lower body strengths. Improvements I have notice in my
players: Flexibility (injury reductions), Balance and Coordination, Focus and
Concentration, Agility and Quickness, Mental Preparedness (games, practice and
most important – school), Team Building, Natural strength and abilities, Visual
Surroundings on and off the game field. “When you are prepared to take on
a challenge by practicing and conditioning in anything you do, greater results
will follow.” FACT: Woodhaven High School’s pole vaulting record was set this past season at 14 feet, eclipsing the old record by nearly two feet. The athlete, Rich D. is a gymnast at MILLS USA.
I have been a coach / trainer for volleyball teams
for the last 8 years. I have been privileged to coach several levels of
volleyball. In my experience the girls that have gone through gymnastics are by
far more advanced with their playing ability and talent.
